We guarantee all labor and parts completed/ provided by Christopher Arter for 1 year from pickup date. In order for this guarantee to be valid a few requirements must be met:
1. A Complete Overhaul or Proper Servicing - Typically a clock that has not been running or worked on for years needs a Complete Overhaul. But not every overhaul is the same. Some clocks require more than others. Allowing us to do a Complete Overhaul allows us to ensure a properly running clock. Servicing is required on clocks every 5-7 years. 2. Proper Testing & Regulating - We ask to keep your clock for a minimum of 2 weeks specifically for testing, to make sure we catch anything strange that may happen, and to ensure everything had properly been completed.
3. Proper Set-Up & Care - A clock must be level for it to run properly. When we test your clock we test it on a level surface. We also make any adjustments to the necessary components to allow the clock to run properly. Your clock needs the same position to run according to its adjustment. Regulating is all completed during the testing stage. Regulating can also be called timing; making sure the clock is not running too fast or too slow.
Our guarantee can only cover a clock that has been taken care of once it left our shop.
